God Blessed Sarah with a long life. (Gen 23:1-2)

As Abraham mourns the loss of his wife, God sustains his faith.  (Gen 23)

Abraham honored his wife by trusting God’s promise enough to bury her in the land promised to them. (Gen 23:3-20)

Abraham did not want to buy any more land than he had to since the entire region would be given to him by God. (Gen 23:9)

Abraham acquired his first piece of the Promised Land. (Gen 23:17-20)

When you lose someone close to you, take appropriate time to mourn. (Ecc 3:4;   1 Thess 4:13)

When you lose someone close to you, rely on the Lord for the strength to keep going. (Phil 4:13)

God has a purpose for us after we lose loved ones. (Phil 1:23-24)

When you lose someone close to you, continue to walk in obedience to God one day at a time. (1 Corinth 10:31)
